Hi, I’m Brittany Franks, the proud owner of Frankly Face Painting. My journey into the world of professional face painting began with the incredible opportunity to work for Premiere Face Painting in Louisville, Kentucky. During my time there, I honed my skills and truly fell in love with the craft. When the owner relocated, I saw it as the perfect moment to apply everything I had learned and start my own business.
What began as a passion project, relying on word-of-mouth referrals and occasional gigs, quickly grew into a thriving business. Soon, I found myself booking more parties than I could manage on my own. Luckily, over the years, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with talented face painters and balloon twisters who now make up my amazing team.
While Frankly Face Painting is a relatively new business, our team is anything but new to providing high-quality event services. Together, we’re dedicated to bringing fun, creativity, and unforgettable experiences to every event we serve.

About Us
When we are at your event, we love to make sure everyone is having a great time! We love creating magical moments for all of your guests, and will paint as many as time allows. Typically, we can paint anywhere from 10 to 30+ faces per hour, all depending on the designs. So keep that in mind when considering how much time to book for your event. We offer a variety of designs, from quick, vibrant designs that can be done in 1-2 minutes, to larger more detailed artwork that might take upwards of 5 minutes or so. Plus, there’s no limit to how many designs your guests can have – if time permits, We’re happy for guest to return for more than one design.
In addition to our numerous face painting design options, we also have many designs that can be painted on the arm. This is especially popular with younger guests who love to watch their artwork come to life in real time. It's always a hit!
Each event comes with a wide range of face paint designs to choose from, so every guest can find something that fits their style. For larger corporate events, I recommend having two talented artists on-site to keep the lines moving and make sure everyone gets painted without delay. And although we do not have any balloon twisters I have many I can recommend if this is something you would like at your event.
We take your safety seriously. That's why we only use top-tier, professional-grade face and body art products from trusted brands like Silly Farm, Tag Body Art, Wolfe Face Art & FX, Kryolan, Kraze, Fusion Body Art, and more. All of these products are FDA-compliant, gentle on the skin, and easily removable with a baby wipe or warm water and soap.
